Blitzen, our final car for Nationals 2025, represents the pinnacle of innovation and performance for Team Supercharged. Evolved through three critical prototypes, Blitzen (SC-NF2-FNL-BLTZ) blends speed, aerodynamic precision, and structural efficiency.

Drawing inspiration from the Peregrine Falcon, Dassault Rafale Jet, Formula E cars, and Top Fuel Dragsters, every element of Blitzen was engineered with purpose. The design underwent extensive CFD testing and virtual wind tunnel simulations to minimize drag and enhance stability. Key to its performance is the revolutionary “Unifusion” wheel support system, which integrates the axle and wheel mount into a single, seamless nylon PA-12 component—precision manufactured using SLS 3D printing by 3D Fusion. Hybrid ceramic bearings from BOCA ensure minimum friction, while House of Polish delivered an automotive-grade finish that not only boosts aesthetics but also reduces surface irregularities.

Blitzen’s back wing and nose cone are streamlined to control wake turbulence, and its overall silhouette supports smooth airflow transitions, reducing the effects of adverse pressure gradients. With each improvement rooted in data, Blitzen is not just a car—it’s the embodiment of our team’s commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and resilience.
